How to Create Bracket and random style Competition & Fixtures?

You can now create a Bracket style cup fixture in League website and save a lot of time while creating it. Before you start doing it, make sure you've all your teams added on the league table.

How to Create Bracket Competition & Fixtures:

'Bracket' style competition allows you to automatically create all rounds of fixtures in advance. From the first round to the final, all of your matches will be displayed in a tree structure similar to the example below.

To Set this up,
- Go to Cup competition from your dashboard.
- Set a name for your cup competition, Select 'Bracket' from Type section and click on Add button.

- Expand the Cup name from the list of Cup competitions by clicking on top of it (Not Edit) and click on Create Fixtures.

- Add division(s) you want to pick teams from and Click Next.

- You'll be shown a list of Teams by an alphabetical order where you'll be able to swap 2 teams at a time. This way the fixture will always set the matches in such a way where the 1st team will play the last team, 2nd team will play against the team before the last one(i.e if the are 8 teams in total, 1st will play against 8th and 2nd team will play against 7th). Finalise your fixture keeping that in mind. Finally, Click Create fixture.
- Switch from "Bracket view" to "table view" in order to update the timetables.

- You can set a date and kick-off time for each match or multi-select all the games and update+save them on the top bar. Also, update the Referee and venue.

- Clicking on the "preview" button on will give you the view for visitors for fixture and results.

Adding Results:

- Once the games have been played, go to Dashboard > Cup Results and select the Competition first. If there is only one competition going on, then you'll see the default one.

- You can update Scores from this page but to update match details you'll have to click on the   icon.
- Once the scores are updated, the fixtures of next round will automatically be generated.

-Repeat the process as above till the finals. Note that, you'll have to fill out all the result fields i.e. full time,AET and Penalty shootout to get a clear winner.

How to Create Random Competition & Fixtures:

'Random' style competition consists of randomly drawn rounds of fixtures through to the final. It is a knockout tournament meaning the winners of each game will advance. Teams are not ranked.

- Teams will be Organised randomly but you'll still be able to swap them

- Click on "Create Cup Fixture" on the bottom.

- You can create fixtures by clicking on "Add fixtures".

- Once date, time, venue and referee are added, "Save" the fixtures.

Adding Results:
